Hill Rescue And Repair Remedy Review

Today i bring to you a review of the Mark Hill Rescue And Repair Remedy. The products claim is to 'restore and repair damaged hair and spit ends'.

I'm my honest opinion... it actually works. I received this product in a limited edition set along with other Mark Hill products for Christmas and I didn't have very high expectations for it but I really do like it.
How I apply the product:
I take a few pumps on my hand and apply it to the lengths and ends of my towel dried hair before I blow dry it.

Pros:
·        It makes my hair smooth and shiny
·        My split ends look visibly reduced
·        The packaging looks good
Cons:
·        I checked online for the price of the product and you can buy it from boots for around £7.50 which is a little pricey if you ask me but i suppose i have see more expensive products
·        It doesn't really have a smell. This could be seen as a pro or a con but personally i like my hair products to have a scent
As I mentioned previously the product can be bought from boots for around £7.50 but the bottles in store do look different from mine as my bottle is a limited edition one.

Hoe you enjoy, your pal Zoe :) xxx

Haul: New look, Garage, Tesco and HMV

Today i bring to you a Haul! it is a collective haul with a number of items that i have picked up over the past week or so. Now people who know me will agree that i have the worst luck with handbags EVER! my bags never last very long and to my dismay, the handbag i have been using for around 2 months broke last week so my number 1 priority has been to replace it. For my Christmas i got some vouchers for New look which i can proudly say i spent well! i picked up this grey bag for £14.99. It has a small handle and an adjustable strap so it will be perfect for every day use.
Another item on my wish list for a while has been a new black blazer. What i like bout this one is that it is fitted and has subtle detail round the waist so it a little different fro your standard black blazer. This beaut cost £22.99.

The final item on my wish list was a pair of black boots. i already have Chelsea boots but i was looking for a longer pair but i have always found it difficult because i have large calf's so when i found this pair in a shoe shop called Garage i had to snap them up asap. The good thing is that they have a small piece of elastic so they stretch to fit my legs. These boots cost me £29.99.

The final few pieces of the haul are not actually for me, they are birthday presents but i thought whats the harm is showing you? The little sets come with a mixer, a miniature bottle of alchol, a stirring stick and a glass. They are from Tesco and only cost £6.
Finally, the earphone are black and white Philips earphones and were purchased for £6 from HMV.

Hope you all enjoy, your pals Zoe :) xxx

Nail of the day

Today's post is all about the nails! I've had this polish for quite a while but it was pushed to the back of my collection. When i was deciding what colour to paint my nails tonight this polish just screamed 'PICK ME'. It is the Barry M Nail effect Nail Paint in Gold foil. The picture does do much justice and neither does my dodgey paint job but i have to say my love for the nil effects has been rekindled! I just applied a base coat and a top coat before and after the colour and of course finished it off with my Avon Liquid freeze quick dry nail spray.

Outfit of the night: drinks with friends

I received this dress as a late christmas present a week ago and i thought that a night out with some friends would be the perfect occasion to wear it! Its not normally something i would pick but i surprisingly quite like it! I don't know where the dress it from but its by a brand called miss blushhh, the tights are just a plain black pair from Primark and the shoes are also from Primark-£15. My face make-up is the same as in my FOTD but my eyes are a selection if colour from the MUA heaven and earth pallet. Hope you enjoy, your pal Zoe :)xxx

Avon Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Nail Spray Review

I am a girl who likes to paint her nails frequently but with a life that can get really hectic at times i don't always have time to wait for the polish to dry before i start touching things. This is where the Avon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Nail Spray appears to save the day. I have been using this spray for about a year now, a few squirts of this and about 1minuite later and your good to go.

However i do have to say that i don't love every aspect of the spray so i will list the pros and con's for you...

Pros
  • It's quick drying just like it says
  • It's small enough to keep in your handbag
  • it actually dries your nails really quickly
Con's
  • I feel it is quite pricey for what it is: £6 a bottle
  • It can be quite greasy. If you spray to much your fingers and the surfaces around you can get very greasy and slippery. I would recommend spraying your fingers over a sink.

Despite the cons of this product it would still highly recommend it. it is a true manicure saviour!!

New Years Resolutions

As this is the start of a new year and the start of a new blog I thought it was only fitting that I gave you guys an idea of my aims for the year ahead. I have spent quite some time now trying to think of ways to change up my life a little. I’m not into fitness or anything so the idea or making a resolution which involved any form of fitness just wasn’t on the cards but for around 2 years now I have spent the majority of my spare time reading blogs and watching YouTube videos so I thought what better way to try something new than to give the internet a go for myself. This year I am going to attempt to blog about as much beauty, fashion and life as I possibly can and to start up my own YouTube channel (well of course my university work will come first).
How about you learn a little about me to? My name is Zoe, I am an 18 year old student from Scotland and I also have a part time job as a sales assistant. I live with my mum, dad and brother in the same house I have lived in for my whole life and I pretty much love life.

It was short and sweet but I will be coming back to you guys soon with another post. Hope you enjoy from your pal Zoe J xxx
